- How is SafeLayer AV licensed?
- SafeLayer is licensed per user, billed monthly, with one device per user. Trial is a free month on a single PC. Advanced is quoted per contract once you pass twenty-five users.
- Is there a free trial for Business or Advanced?
- Yes. Talk to our team and we'll set up a scoped trial deployment so your security team can evaluate SafeLayer on real endpoints before committing.
- Do you offer volume or multi-year discounts?
- Yes. Advanced has no list price at all — contact us and we will quote your fleet, and organizations committing to a longer term or a larger number of users qualify for reduced per-user pricing.
- Can I change plans as my organization grows?
- Yes. You can move up from Individual to Startup, Startup to Business, or Business to Advanced at any time. Your existing policies and Quarantine Vault history carry over.
- Does pricing include support?
- Every plan includes support. Business includes priority email support; Advanced adds a dedicated onboarding contact and a response-time SLA.
- Where is my data processed?
- SafeLayer is local-first by design. Files stay on the endpoint; only a file fingerprint is sent when a second opinion is required, regardless of plan.
